Microsoft has announced that Halo 5: Guardians will be released for the Xbox One in fall 2015. While the company kept details on the project mum, expect more news to come at E3 this year. What Microsoft and 343 Industries did reveal is that Halo 5: Guardians is a bigger effort than Halo 4 and the team has “invested a huge effort in retooling” their tech to take full advantage of the Xbox One’s capabilities.
Joining Halo 5: Guardians next year will be the Halo television series that will be launched in collaboration with Steven Spielberg. We’ll have to wait until E3 for more information and details on Halo 5: Guardians, but for now the above image will have to suffice.
