Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be heading to mobile devices this December, Rockstar Games has announced. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was originally released on October 26, 2004 for the Sony PlayStation 2 before heading to the PC on June 7, 2005. San Andreas didn’t make an appearance on the original Xbox until June 7, 2005. Rockstar Games then offered it on the Xbox 360 on October 20, 2008 through the Xbox Live Marketplace before it was also ported over to Mac on November 12, 2010. Lastly, PlayStation 3 gamers were able to download it through PSN on December 11, 2012.
Now gamers can take Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the go this holiday season and it won’t simply just be the same game as before. According to Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on mobile will be upgraded with newly remastered graphics, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, in addition to enhanced character and car models. In other words, it’ll be the best-looking version of San Andreas yet.
It will have full controller support and will be available for select iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Mobile devices in December.
