The Fable Anniversary release date has been announced for February 4, 2014 and will be heading exclusively to the Xbox 360. Fable Anniversary is a 1080p HD remake of the original Fable game for the Xbox that was released in 2004. It will feature remastered audio, high-definition graphics, a new interface, achievements, SmartGlass integration and The Lost Chapters content.

The game will also feature a new save system which is a checkpoint-based system, where the game will automatically save your progress. Of course players will be able to manually save at any point if they wish.

Launch copies of Fable Anniversary will come with a Launch Day Weapons & Outfits Pack which comes with a Scythe Outfit, a Black Graduate Outfit, a Red Prophet Outfit, a Blue Guard Outfit, a Red Guard Outfit, a Lute Weapon and a Will User’s Sceptre Weapon. Launch day gamers will also get a special 10th Anniversary Lion’s Head Avatar Helmet.

It was originally announced in September that Fable Anniversary would be delayed until February.
