NieR creator and director Yoko Taro had high praise for Stellar Blade when it released earlier this year, and if you know anything about him, you won’t be surprised to hear that Stellar Blade is getting a NieR: Automata collaboration later this year. As I mentioned in my Stellar Blade review, the game clearly draws inspiration from NieR: Automata, so it was only a matter of time before this collaboration happened. Unfortunately, we don’t know much yet, but today’s teaser trailer shows 2B with her faithful Pod 042 overlooking Petelos. Given how much I love NieR: Automata and how thoroughly I enjoyed my experience with Stellar Blade, I’m really looking forward to experiencing the DLC.

In addition to the NieR: Automata DLC announcement, Stellar Blade revealed it’s also getting a new Photo Mode, and that its full original soundtrack, with over 180 tracks, is now available on select streaming services.
